'Game of Thrones' Season 8: John Bradley Warns of Samwell’s 'Really Manipulative Side'
Fans think of Samwell Tarly as the nice guy on “Game of Thrones,” but star John Bradley says it isn’t always the case.
“Extra” caught up with Bradley at the Season 8 NYC premiere, where he explained, “People see Samwell as this beacon of goodness amongst all this violence and treachery that goes on, but one thing that people are in danger of forgetting is that Samwell has a really manipulative side to him.”
He continued, “If Sam wants something, he doesn’t mind lying, he doesn’t mind conning his way, he doesn’t mind manipulating situations to get there… he doesn’t mind causing trouble for others if it means that Gilly and baby Sam are safe.”
