How Weldon Long Changed His Life After Three Stints in Prison

“Extra’s” Mario Lopez sat down with professional speaker and entrepreneur Weldon Long at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he opened up about his rough past.

After dropping out of school in the ninth grade, Long became homeless and eventually went to prison for “robbery, kidnapping, money laundering [and] mail fraud.” He said, “I was not a nice guy when I was young.”

After his third stint behind bars, Long decided to turn his life around. He said, “I took a sheet of paper, wrote out what a perfect life for me was. For the next seven years, I’d get up, read it, I’d meditate on it. I visualized it… They released me to a homeless shelter in 2003, just 14 years ago. Within five years, I built a Inc. 5000 company and started writing books and speaking.”

Weldon also shared his thoughts on how to be successful at life. Watch!
