Matt Damon Dishes on How He Prepped for ‘Jason Bourne’ in His Forties

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh recently hit the Blackjack table with Matt Damon, who first started playing Jason Bourne at the age of 29.

Sixteen years later, he is reprising the role in a new, action-packed movie. When asked how different it was to prepare for the role at age 45 as compared to when he was in his late twenties, Damon said, "It was two workouts a day, which I love, and then it was the dieting, which I absolutely abhor, you know? So it was vegetables and protein and that’s it — no wine or beer, no pasta or bread or fun, basically.

“Jason Bourne” hits theaters July 29.
