How Amy Adams Persuaded Jeremy Renner to Join ‘Arrival’
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, who are promoting their new alien thriller “Arrival.”
Jeremy plays a military scientist in the movie, admitting he only took the role because of Amy. “She’s a very good friend of mine.”
Amy plays a linguistics professor on a mission to communicate with aliens after 12 ships mysteriously land around the world. She jokingly clarified their suits for the movie were hazmat suits, not swimsuits — and for good reason! “Both of us were heavy on the craft service.”
Renner also spilled about possibly working with another of his famous friends, Tom Cruise, in “Mission: Impossible 6.” Hear his reaction in the video!
“Arrival” hits theaters Friday.
