How Jennifer Lopez’s Bronx Upbringing Inspired Her New Shoe Collection

Last night, Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a white, low-cut trench jacket-dress as she launched her new shoe line with Giuseppe Zanotti at Neiman Marcus.

The superstar, who seems to be able to do it all, told “Extra’s” Renee Bargh about her love affair with shoes, which came long before she was famous. She said, “I remember growing up in the Bronx — and my mom and dad will hate me saying this — but having holes in my shoes. Literally. Right in the ball of my foot. Wearing my sneakers out, wearing my sandals out in the summers. Having one pair. And remembering when I went on my first promo tour in Europe, it was the first time I was in Europe, I walked into a room and I was promoting my first album and there were all these shoes, and I was jet-lagged and it was 4 a.m., and I was by myself and I look and I see all these shoes and I'm like, ‘Oh, my God, how did this happen?'”
