80's Weekend Concert Makes the Decade All the Rage
Like, totally!
The 1980s are all the rage again with "Stranger Things" and "The Goldbergs" on TV, and with today’s hottest pop stars mimicking the sounds and fashion trends of the decade.
Some of the biggest names from that time, including Howard Jones (Things Can Only Get Better), ABC (The Look of Love), The English Beat (Mirror in the Bathroom), Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet (True), Bow Wow Wow, and many others will be appearing together for '80s Weekend at the Microsoft Theatre in L.A. on January 28th.
The concert will be hosted by Sirius XM “First Wave” host Richard Blade, who has managed to keep the music relevant, and has become an icon of the era in the process.
"Extra's" Senior Music Correspondent Adam Weissler chatted with the radio DJ, who discussed the passing of George Michael and what it meant to him to be able to introduce his music to many fans around the world.
