Michelle Obama Thanks ‘Extra’ & ‘NCIS’ for Helping Her Initiate Positive Change with Military Families
In April, First Lady Michelle Obama sat down with “Extra’s” AJ Calloway during a break from shooting her cameo on “NCIS,” which highlighted a serious problem affecting military families.
Michelle recently reflected on the issue, saying,“Many military families have to move every few years to a new base in a new state, and this used to present a serious challenge for military spouses who had jobs that required licenses. In 47 states, those licenses didn't transfer over state-lines.”
