Kaya Scodelario Reflects on Her Fangirling Moment with Johnny Depp on ‘Pirates’ Set
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh recently sat down with actress Kaya Scodelario as she promoted her new movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”
Kaya was able to star alongside her lifelong idol, Johnny Depp. She shared, "It's crazy, you know? He's someone I've admired for so, so long and I really wanted to be professional and chill and be like, ‘Yo, let's do a scene together.' I met him beforehand and he was, you know, dressed as Johnny and I got that out of the way.”
"And then he came on set dressed as Jack Sparrow and I lost it, just completely freaked out,” Kaya admitted.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is in theaters now.
