Joan Rivers' Assistants Give Pizzas to Media Waiting Outside Her NYC Apartment
The outpouring of support following Joan Rivers' death not a surprise, because even though there was no celebrity target that was safe from her jokes, off the stage, the comedian was a kind and compassionate person. Just look at how her assistants' treated the media outlets that were camped outside her apartment, handing out pizza and water to the reporters, cameramen and police waiting outside, making sure they wouldn't get hungry or thirsty.
