‘This Is Us’: Milo Ventimiglia on Jack’s Emotional Death Scene and More
“This Is Us” fans don't have to wait much longer — NBC's breakout hit returns tomorrow night!
“Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with “This Is Us” star Milo Ventimiglia at Universal Studios Hollywood, where the actor opened up about Season 2… including how his character Jack Pearson dies.
“That is the question on everyone's mind, which does get satisfied pretty quickly,” he said, confirming that fans will have an answer this season.
Milo continued, “It is going to happen relatively quick.”
When Renee asked if he had already shot the episode, he explained, “We have… ish. Pieces. Most of it.” Bargh asked if it was emotional, and Milo replied, “Very.”
Viewers will have to wait to find out how Jack's wife Rebecca, played my Mandy Moore, ends up with his best friend Miguel. “It might not be for a bit,” Ventimiglia said.
What about Jack's kids? Well, Kate (Chrissy Metz) could be heading down the aisle with boyfriend Toby. Milo said, “I think Jack would love if Kate married Toby.”
Randall (Sterling K. Brown) is stepping away from his high-powered job. Ventimiglia put it this way, “Randall is going to find a place that I think doesn't stress his mind and strain his heart too much. He'll find his way.”
“This Is Us” Season 2 premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC.
