Rumer Willis Choosing Dancing Rather Than Romancing

Actress Rumer Willis will be chasing the coveted mirror ball trophy with partner Val Chmerkovskiy on this season on “Dancing with the Stars.”

The two joined “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood and talked about how Rumer wants to stay focused on dancing and not dating.

Saying she doesn’t have a boyfriend right now, Rumer explained, “Keeping my life simple.” She added, “Dance is my focus, not men. Boys can wait.”

Playing cupid, Mario asked what she looks for in a man. “Someone that can make you laugh and someone that has just integrity, communication and honesty are the two most important things in a relationship. I tend to connect to someone’s personality more than how they look.”

Fans can’t wait to see Willis and Val hit the dance floor, especially Rumer’s famous parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. She said they are “stoked… my sisters are so excited. I said, ‘You guys have to rally all around and everybody so we can stick around for while.'”

Rumer and Val also think they have good chance at taking it all. Val said Rumer is a good student. “She’s awesome, has great energy, great spirit, really loves dance. She has some moves. I don’t know if she wants to share with everybody, but she has natural ability.”

The new season of “DWTS” premieres March 16 on ABC!
