Rosie O’Donnell on the Presidential Hopeful Who Has Her Attention... and Why Two Front-Runners Do Not
Rosie O’Donnell attended the GLAAD Media Awards in NYC to support her longtime friend Madonna as the Queen of Pop accepted the Advocate for Change Award.
Rosie shared her thoughts on the political landscape. She explained told “Extra’s” Special Correspondent Megan Ryte, “We as gay people… the concept that we would have a major candidate as a gay man with his husband is mind-boggling to me. It probably felt similar to when Barack Obama was elected and people were like, ‘What, America? We are going to have a black President?’ There’s no thinking for it.”
She added, “Kamala Harris, she has my attention, she has my enthusiasm, and she has my belief in her. I hope that she pushes right through and starts to lead the Democratic Party towards impeachment, which is by all means justified.”
