Why Kaitlyn Bristowe Thought Jason Tartick Might Propose After ‘DWTS’ Win!
The Bachelorette takes the Mirrorball! That’s right, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev were the big winners on the “Dancing with the Stars” finale.
“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay caught up with the pair after the show and teased that the only thing that could top the win… was an engagement!
Kaitlyn confessed that her boyfriend Jason Tartick had her a little suspicious as they chatted before the finale. She told Rachel, “You know what's funny... I was FaceTiming Jason and I looked at him. He was in a suit and I was like... ‘Why are you dressed up?’ And he's like… ‘It's the finale.’ And I'm like... ‘Okay…’ Now I'm all suspect!”
As far as we know he didn’t propose, but Jason did pop a bottle of champagne on Instagram in her honor set to the tune of Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”
This marked Artem’s first Mirrorball Trophy win, too, and he was ready to head home to see fiancée Nikki Bella and their baby Matteo. “I can’t wait to just take my son, squeeze my fiancée, smell my son, just hug him, feed him, put him to bed, everything… Can’t wait to show him this Mirrorball.”
Kaitlyn and Artem had some tough competition. In the end, Justina Machado and Sasha Farber landed in fourth place, Nelly and Daniella Karagach in third, and Nev and Jenna Johnson in second.
