Thandiwe Newton Gets Candid About Motherhood and Mistakes
Actress Thandiwe Newton is doing it all as a working mom!
“Extra’s” Katie Krause spoke with Thandie at the premiere of her new film “All the Old Knives,” where she showed her support for Ukraine with a blue and yellow ribbon.
Amid the war between Russia and Ukraine, Thandiwe shared, “I just wanted to wordlessly acknowledge that, despite all of this, no one forgets.”
Thandiwe also opened up about motherhood and how her kids inspire her. She said, “I look in the mirror and I realize that I look a bit like my children and that makes me love myself. I look at my mom and I look in the mirror and I see me… It makes me love me more than I did before, so that’s a gift for me and the gift that I give them.”
