How Geoffrey Zakarian & His Celebrity Friends Are Raising Millions During COVID-19 Outbreak
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian, who is hosting the TV special "The Great New York Foodathon," which raises money to support City Harvest.
Along with dishing on the celebrities participating, Zakarian said, “We helped raised millions upon millions of dollars. The money is already coming in, just from [people] hearing about it.”
City Harvest is known for distributing millions of pounds of excess food to food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community organizations.
"The Great New York Foodathon" will air in New York April 17 on FOX5 at 7 p.m. E.T.
