Shania Twain Recalls ‘Really Kind’ Sean Penn Helping Her Out as a Struggling Artist
efore she was a country queen, Shania Twain was an artist struggling to get by.
She opened up to “Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst about her early days in the music business, revealing how Sean Penn offered a helping hand in the 1990s.
Not only did he direct one of her music videos, afterward he could tell she was struggling and gave her $100.
Twain confessed, “I needed it… now all these years later I think that was just a really kind thing to do.”
Shania also dished on her upcoming shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and slipping back into her outfit from the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” video. Watch!
