Rachel Zegler Reveals How Lady Gaga Inspired Her Career
“Extra’s” Katie Krause spoke with Rachel Zegler at the Los Angeles premiere of “West Side Story,” where she gushed about Lady Gaga.
Three years ago, Rachel covered Gaga’s “A Star Is Born” song “Shallow,” which has been viewed by over 3 million people on YouTube.
Rachel commented, “It is not lost on a lot of us that she saved so many lives with her music and her unapologetic self… It’s been very inspiring for me to watch her transition into a highly acclaimed actress.”
Zegler went on, “She can do it all, and she is the definition of someone who inspires the next generation. She is the reason I think I can do this, and she’s the reason I perform.”
Rachel also spilled on her upcoming “Snow White” remake, explaining what will make this version different from the past. She said “Snow White is claiming her narrative. She is waiting on a wish, but it’s not for a man.”
Zegler also opened up about how surreal it is to see her face on the billboards. Watch!
