Queen Latifah Aims to ‘Equalize’ Playing Field in Hollywood
“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst spoke with Queen Latifah as she promoted the reboot of the ‘80s series “The Equalizer.”
Latifah is only the fifth woman of color to play the lead of a network television show. She said, “I’m excited in raising those numbers… We are going to equalize it a little bit.”
“The Equalizer” airs on CBS Sunday nights.
