Chadwick Boseman’s Mentor on the Star’s Very Private Cancer Battle

“Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman passed away on Friday after a very private battle with colon cancer.

“Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with Howard University President Wayne A.I. Frederick, who was one of Chadwick’s mentors. Frederick opened up about Boseman’s courage and how the star explained away his weight loss.

While at Howard, Chadwick was accepted into the British American Drama Academy at Oxford. Bush also spoke with the former dean and director of the program, Ian Wooldridge, who said even then there was a “princely quality” about the actor.
