“Demon in Disguise” is a true crime tale of deception, kidnapping and homicide. The book follows a double murder that rocked a small Arkansas town in 2002 and led detectives on a twisted journey.
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with the book’s authors Ashley Elliott, the daughter of victim Carter Elliott, and Michael Coffino to learn more about the case.
Coffino explained Carter’s execution-style murder, alongside his business protégé, was a true mystery with “no fingerprints, no DNA, no weapons” and “no eyewitnesses.”
