Debbie Matenopoulos Talks ‘The View’ Return
George Hahn completed an assignment for “Extra,” interviewing Debbie Matenopoulos after she appeared on “The View,” a show she helped Barbara Walters launch 25 years ago.
Of her return, Debbie admitted, “I had a lot of sort of jitters going back, as you can imagine as one of the original co-hosts on that show 25 years ago.”
“The show was much different then,” Debbie noted. “It wasn’t what it is today.”
Debbie noted the show became more political “when Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky had their scandal.”
Debbie also dished on her upcoming holiday GAC special, “Welcome to Great American Christmas,” and her new skincare line. Watch!
“Extra” is searching for Nate Burleson’s replacement, and Hahn was trying out to take over as our New York correspondent.
