Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Sweet Words About Phoebe Waller-Bridge
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh and Adam Glassman spoke with Julia Louis-Dreyfus at the Emmys, where she praised the night’s big winner, Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Discussing her favorite shows at the moment, Julia said, “I love ‘Fleabag.’ Phoebe is amazing… she’s divine. She’s the real deal.”
Phoebe went on to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, ending Julia’s winning streak in the same category. Had she won, Julia would have inched ahead of Cloris Leachman to become the performer with the most Emmys in history.
