Why Kiefer Sutherland Made a TV Comeback
“Extra” recently caught up with Kiefer Sutherland on the set of his ABC show “Designated Survivor.”
Though Sutherland had no plans to return to TV after the success of his series “24," he had a change of heart.
"I really wasn’t looking for a television show — because, unlike ’24,' this time I wasn’t ready for the commitment that was required,” he said, but the show’s script made it impossible for him to say no. "I hit about page 22 and I remember I said an expletive because I knew it was that good.”
“Designated Survivor” airs Wednesday nights.
