Laverne Cox’s Response to Martha Stewart’s ‘Orange Is the New Black’ Diss
Actress Laverne Cox recently sat down with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she promoted the fourth season of her hit show “Orange Is the New Black.”
On a recent episode of “Chelsea,” Martha Stewart revealed why she didn’t watch the Netflix hit, saying, "When you live through something like ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ the real characters are better. It’s not as good as the real thing.”
When asked about Stewart’s answer, Cox kept it classy, saying, “I love Martha Stewart, I've met her a few times. I used to watch her show all the time, I bought her sheets, and various things from Kmart.”
As for the new season of “OITNB," Laverne shared, “I've been telling people to hold on to their wigs, weaves and edges and eyelashes because it really is intense."
“Orange Is the New Black” is streaming on Netflix.
