Stars Rally for Sick 9/11 Rescue Workers
Actors Melanie Griffith, Danny Masterton and Bijou Phillips offer their support for the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project. The project was founded in New York City in 2003 with the goal of treating firefighters and other rescue workers for toxins inhaled at Ground Zero. Another related project, the Gulf Coast Detoxification Project, helps individuals affected by the Gulf oil spill.
