Joan Lunden Uses Storytelling to Educate About Cancer
“Extra’s” Tanika Ray sat down with Joan Lunden at Universal Studios Hollywood, where the TV host opened up about her fight against cancer.
Four years ago, after undergoing an ultrasound, Lunden was diagnosed with breast cancec. “I had an aggressive, fast-growing cancer… if I had just gone on ,and just had mammograms, I don’t know if I’d be sitting here with you.”
Lunden is partnering with Amgen to meet with fellow patients and survivors of cancer.
