Hilary Duff Talks Kim Cattrall Joining ‘How I Met Your Father’
“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay spoke with Hilary Duff at the Baby2Baby Gala, where she spilled fun secrets about her upcoming Hulu series “How I Met Your Father.”
Duff noted that she had “one more week” of shooting the first season, gushing, “The cast is amazing! Everyone is so funny, but so excited to be there… Our writers are incredible…”
Hilary dished, “I just had a funny kissing scene with Chris Lowell that I’m excited/nervous to watch.”
Duff raved about her co-star Kim Cattrall, who is playing future Sophie. She said, “She’s just lovely, so warm, and I was surprised at how much we look alike. I never really realized that.”
Since Thanksgiving is coming, what are her plans? Hilary revealed, “My mom is going to be with us. Our neighbors are coming over. We kind of do a Friendsgiving. It’s fun. I’m trying to take a little pressure off this year by not kicking the turkey because that doesn’t always go so well when I’m charge of that.”
She stressed, “I just want to be cozy and with my kids… We’ll probably heat the pool even though it’s not the time. That’s how we like to hang, in the backyard.”
Duff also showed her support for Baby2Baby, saying, “I hope we just raise a ton of money… Baby2Baby works tirelessly to find the most vulnerable people to help.”
