How Jessica Chastain Became Molly Bloom
“Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli sat down with Jessica Chastain and Aaron Sorkin at the Toronto Film Festival, where they promoted their film “Molly’s Game.”
In the movie, based on a true story, Chastain plays Molly Bloom, an Olympic skier turned poker queen of Hollywood. Chastain was able to get inside the brain of Molly, herself! She said, “From the moment I met her, she was completely open to me… I had a constant chain of communication where I could text her if I was to go do a scene or even things about what she was feeling.”
“Molly’s Game” hits theaters November 22.
