‘The Many Saints of Newark’ Star Michael Gandolfini Talks His Late Father James Gandolfini
“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst spoke with Michael Gandolfini as he promoted the upcoming “Sopranos” prequel “The Many Saints of Newark.”
Michael is playing the younger version of Tony Soprano, which was played by his late dad James Gandolfini. When asked how his dad would feel if he watched him, Michael said, “I think he would feel really proud of me.”
Cheslie also spoke with Michael’s co-stars Alessandro Nivola and Leslie Odom Jr..
“The Many Saints of Newark” hits theaters and on HBO Max October 1.
