Team USA Counts Down to the Summer Olympics with Help from Michelle Obama
Michelle Obama was in NYC helping Olympians like Steele Johnson, Jordan Burroughs, and Sarah True mentor kids at a special Countdown to Rio event in Times Square.
The event welcomed honorary Team USA members The Band Perry. Their song “Live Forever” will be the team’s official anthem at the games.
Figure skaters Meryl Davis and Charlie White were also there to cheer on their teammates.
The 2016 Summer Olympics kick off in Rio de Janeiro on August 5.
