Jamie Foxx on His Humble Beginnings, Plus: How He Snuck His Friends into Golden Globes Party
“Extra’s” Mark Wright sat down with Jamie Foxx in his trailer, where he went through his career highlights.
Of his first career break, Jamie said, “Getting the call that you’re on this show called 'In Living Color' with ten of the most incredible comic actors in the world, those are the moments when you come from a small town — Terrell, Texas, population 12,000 people — and here you are amongst millions with your hand up, like, 'Somebody choose me, pick me!' It happens and the rest is history.”
Foxx also reflected on that time he snuck a bus filled with his close friends into a Golden Globes party. Watch!
Jamie is currently promoting his new show “Off Script,” which will feature his interviews with actors and actresses.
