New Docu Reveals How O.J.’s Defense ‘Created an Illusion’ Inside His Home During the Trial
“Extra” has a new clip from ESPN’s documentary series “O.J.: Made in America.”
The series takes a close look at O.J. Simpson’s 1995 trial for the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, for which he was acquitted.
In the video, key players in the case look back at the time the jury visited Simpson’s Rockingham Estate, revealing the defense took steps to help O.J. connect with the jury.
O.J.'s agent Mike Gilbert explains, “What we did that day is create an illusion,” as others go on to say that the defense switched out many photographs in the house to help Simpson connect with African-American jurors.
