Chrissy Metz Reflects on Vulnerable Bathroom Scene in ‘This Is Us’ Premiere
“Extra’s” Charissa Thompson recently sat down with “This Is Us” actress Chrissy Metz at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she opened up about one of the rawest moments she had to shoot for the show.
In the premiere episode, Metz was asked to strip down for a scene in the bathroom. She shared, “I get on the scale with just panties and I remember reading the script and I was like, ‘No,' and I thought, 'This is gonna take guts.' I thought it was really important to be vulnerable and to be in that space where people can relate to you.”
“This Is Us” airs Tuesday nights on NBC.
