Howie Mandel’s Son Witnessed Looting and Rioting from His Santa Monica Home

“Extra’s” Terri Seymour spoke with “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel, who is doing his part amid the COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide protests.

Along with stressing the need for change, Howie is also doing his part by trying to save small businesses with the home shopping streaming service Talk Shop Live. He said, “There’s a lot of hurt in our world financially and physically with COVID-19 and racially.”

Mandel recently got a first-hand account on the rioting and looting happening in California. Howie revealed, “My kids live in Santa Monica, so I was concerned for my kids’ safety. My son was living from the roof and all around him, there were fires burning and windows breaking.”

In a recent Instagram video, Howie’s son Alex put the blame on “opportunistic criminals,” not the protesters who have been seeking justice in the killing of George Floyd.
