Is ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Happening? What Anne Hathaway Says!
On Wednesday night, “Extra” special correspondent Nando Vila spoke with Anne Hathaway at the premiere of her film “The Hustle,” where she learned about her “The Devil Wears Prada” co-star Meryl Streep’s power lunch with Anna Wintour.
Days before the Met Gala, Meryl and Anna met up for a one-hour lunch at celeb hot spot Sant Ambroeus in NYC. They were seen greeting each other with friendly hugs and air kisses in photos obtained by TMZ. Anne reacted to the news by saying, “Oooooh — I didn’t see that!” When Nando noted that it was all over the Internet, Anne excitedly responded, “Oh, my gosh!”
Meryl portrayed Miranda Priestly, who is inspired by Anna, in the film. When asked if there is a possibility of a sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada,” Anne commented, “I don’t know. Isn’t it great the way it is?”
