Meet the Mystery Man from Adele's 'Hello’ Video
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway recently hung out with Tristan Mack Wilds, who plays Adele’s love interest in her music video for the smash hit “Hello.”
Tristan’s face been seen over 487 million times, which is the number of clicks that the video has generated on YouTube. On the topic of how he was cast, Wilds revealed, "The director, Xavier [Dolan], called and requested me. I guess him and Adele… kind of… reached out and wanted me to portray this with the right emotion… They called me, thank God!”
He has definitely gained more fans after the video was released. He gushed, "It’s definitely crazy! Adele fans are amazing, ya know? They love her so much. They love anybody connected to her, so I appreciate all the people who are loving everything we’ve done."
The 26-year-old, who has worked in “The Wire” and “90210,” will be starring in a new TV movie called “The Breaks,” airing on VH1.
