Tarek El Moussa Sets the Record Straight on Reconciliation and Romance Rumors
Earlier today, "Flip or Flop" star Tarek El Moussa joined “Extra's” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood, who opened up about his relationship with ex Christina and gave an update on his health.

Tarek is doing “fantastic,” saying, “Life is great.” Things are looking up after announcing his split from Christina and his cancer revelation. Of the separation and decision to continue working with Christina, who is also his business partner, he said, “You know, in general, in any separation, there are challenges… I think we're doing a good job. We're co-parenting, we're still working together we're flipping houses and we're filming 'Flip or Flop.'” Thought they have just finished wrapping season seven, he emphasized, “The hope is to continue shooting the show.”
Tarek also shot down reports that there is a possibility for reconciliation, commenting, “You know, right now, we're just focusing on the future. We're staying positive… At this point in time, I think we're both going separate ways.”
Clearing up rumors he is dating someone, he said, “Oh, someone I'm seeing? No, absolutely not. I'm just focusing on my kids, my career, for the first time in a long time. I'm single.”
Despite the split, the couples' kids, Taylor and Brayden, they are doing well. El Moussa shared of his children, “Taylor, she's an amazing young girl. She's adjusting well because we're co-parenting and we're doing the best we can… My daughter is six and my son 18 months, so he's too little to understand, but everything's great — they're doing very good.”
Not only did he battle thyroid cancer, the 36-year-old recently revealed his testicular cancer diagnosis. “The good thing is, right now, I'm in remission for both testicular cancer and thyroid cancer,” Tarek said. "I just met with the doctors at UCLA, they did some testing and everything's clear.”
