Single Paula Patton Reveals What She’s Looking for in a Man

Actress Paula Patton is back on the big screen with green skin and tusks, starring as a really hot half-human, half-Orc in the highly anticipated thriller “Warcraft.”

Paula joined “Extra's” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she dished on her love life, her new role, as well as her days at home with her son Julian.

Patton revealed she's currently single, telling Mario, ”I'm not seeing anyone special but I'm open to see what's out there.”

After her public divorce from Robin Thicke in 2014, she may even try online dating. She said, “You know, I still feel like there's this new thing with the pictures. I guess it could be fun… it'd be so scary to be actually meeting them.”

As for who she is hoping to meet, Paula shared, “You know what? I really want somebody who likes to have fun. Somebody who's, like, happy, you know what I mean?”

At home, the 40-year-old has her little man, Julian, 6, who she is co-parenting with Thicke. It seems like Julian has inherited his father's music abilities, she commented, “We play piano quite a bit and he's decided that Rihanna is his favorite singer, outside of Dad… He's like, 'Mom, my favorite singer, besides Dad, is Rihanna.' He has a talent show coming up next Tuesday and he's like, 'I wanna play piano and sing 'Stay.' I was like, 'Okay'… He's been working on it night & day.”

Aside from taking care of Julian, she had to make sure she was in shape for her “Warcraft” character. “It was pretty daunting, when I got into it aesthetically. They just wanted a certain look that I look like I could be more Orc-ish and like a warrior, so it starts with the protein, but then it was two-and-a-half-hour workouts.”

Paula was excited to be a part of the hyped-up fantasy game turned blockbuster movie, gushing, “Wasn't until I read the script that I knew what I was getting myself into, and it's an incredible world. I just saw the movie, Mario. I don't like to watch myself in anything, but I actually went back to watch it twice because of the IMAX, only because it felt like a fantasy — I didn't even feel like I was in it. I felt more like an audience member… So much is done after you shoot it, and it's the weirdest thing. You just step into this other universe. I'm proud to be a part of it. You take a leap of faith… you really don't know how it's gonna turn out.”
