Becca Kufrin’s First Words on Garrett Yrigoyen’s Apology
In a Facebook live chat, “Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with “The Bachelorette” star Becca Kufrin at Universal Studios Hollywood this morning!
“Bachelorette” frontrunner Garrett Yrigoyen recently apologized for a series of questionable social media “likes” on Instagram. Did Becca think Garrett's apology was sincere? Becca said, “I think so. If he felt it was right, good for him.”
When asked if she thought Garrett was racist, sexist or intolerant, Becca said, “I don't, no.”
If he was the one that she chose in the end, would this be an issue later down the road? Becca told Renee, “With any guy, it's a conversation. As long as somebody is willing to have that conversation and to open and still learn and grow and be educated, that's all I could ask for.”
Her former fiancé, "Bachelor" star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancée Lauren Burnham have announced their wedding date. Would Kufrin attend if she were invited? Becca answered, “I've been asked that! I don't know... I don't think I would be invited. If I was, I would probably go and I would hope that there's an open bar and I would hope I would get a plus one. I don't know — we'll see!”
As for inviting Arie to her own wedding, Becca laughed, saying, “I don't know. I don't even know what kind of wedding I would have yet.”
Is there a “happily ever after situation?” for Becca and her mystery man? Becca beamed, revealing, “I do. I'm done. I'm off the market!”
"The Bachelorette" airs Monday on ABC.
