Bill and Melinda Gates announced their after 27 years of marriage. According to Forbes, Bill is worth $130 billion. Divorce docs indicated that they had no prenup, but they already had a plan to divide up their real property, personal property and debt in a separation contract.

Jana Kramer filed for divorce from Mike Caussin after six years of marriage. She posted a statement on social media, which read in part, "I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have. I have nothing else to give. 'It's time.'" The pair had previously separated in 2016, but later reconciled. They have been open about their relationship struggles and Mike's infidelity, releasing a book in Sept. 2020 called "The Good Fight."

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez announced their split after weeks of rumors. They released a statement that said in part, "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another's children."

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. The split came after the couple went through a very tumultuous summer, with Kanye sharing personal details about their family while running for president. He later went on a Twitter rant about Kim, and publicly apologized.

Elliott Page and Emma Portner called it quits after three years of marriage. The news came just two months after Page came out as transgender.

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas reportedly called it quits after nearly a year together. A source told People magazine, "This is something that was completely amicable. They are in different points in their lives and there is deep love and respect there."

"Love Island USA" Season 2 winners Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew announced that they called it quits about four months after the show. Justine posted, "I want you to know that Caleb and I are no longer together. I do ask for time as I continue to go through the process of heartbreak and healing as this has all been very hard for me." Caleb also posted a statement, asking fans not to "engage in speculation" and to respect their privacy.

"Love Island" Season 2 couple Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrooks called it quits after six months. Cely announced the split on Jan. 9, writing, “Because you’ve all been such a close part of our relationship, I wanted to share with you that Johnny and I are no longer together. While our relationship has been public from the start, I do ask that you respect this decision and our privacy during this time." She continued, "There is no reason to speculate, I am so thankful for our time together, but now it’s simply time for each of us to focus on our personal journey."

Zoë Kravitz filed for divorce from Karl Glusman on Dec. 23 after 18 months of marriage. A rep for Kravitz confirmed the split to People magazine.

In a New Year's Eve post, former 'Bachelor' Peter Weber broke the news that he and Kelley Flanagan had called it quits. He wrote, "While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end. Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on. These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together."

“Fast & Furious” star Tyrese Gibson and wife Samantha called it quits after nearly four years of marriage.
