After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called it quits in 2021. They had a combined $2.1 billion in assets, according to Forbes.

Bill and Melinda Gates announced their split in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage. According to Forbes, Bill was worth $130 billion. Divorce docs indicated that they had no prenup, but they already had a plan to divide up their real property, personal property and debt in a separation contract.

Rapper Dr. Dre and his wife Nicole Young called it quits in 2020 after 24 years of marriage. The exes reached a divorce settlement in 2021. TMZ reported that Nicole would walk away with $100 million (broken into two $50 million payments) of his $820 million net worth.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and wife Mackenzie announced their split in January 2019 after 25 years of marriage. MacKenzie later revealed more details about the $130-billion divorce. She kept 25% of the couple's Amazon stock, leaving her with about $35 billion, according to CNBC, which is equivalent to 4% of the company's common stock.

There was reportedly $400 million at stake in Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's protracted divorce battle.

Record executive Scooter Braun was ordered to pay wife Yael Cohen $20 million in their divorce, along with $60,000 per month in child support for their three kids. She also kept their $30 million Brentwood family home, her 2021 Land Rover Defender and some art. Braun retained the $65-million mansion he bought in L.A., a private jet and more than 100 pieces of art.
