Must-Have Party Supplies for Cinco de Mayo from Modelo Beer!

Cinco de Mayo is coming up, and “Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers is getting the scoop on how you can enjoy the holiday with help from Modelo beer.

Jenn caught up with Nancy Quero, the founder and owner of Guelaguetza Designs, for some tips.

She shared, “We always enjoy a very good taco from a local Mexican restaurant, and the adults always enjoy a Modelo beer.”

Plus, Modelo is launching a limited-time Mercado — an online experience filled with authentic party supplies and décor made by Mexican and Mexican-American artists.

Quero explained, “When you buy through the Modelo Mercado, you're supporting the seven businesses that sell handmade items from Mexico, and all of those sales go back to the artists in Mexico and to local businesses here.” In fact, Guelaguetza Designs is one of those seven businesses.

Jenn asked, “What are some of the items people can purchase?” Nancy replied, “You're going to find amazing items handmade in Mexico like home décor, you're going to find authentic embroidery for your decorations so you can celebrate authentically this Cinco do Mayo.”
