Carlos Greer
Special Correspondent
Carlos Greer is one of "Extra’s" special correspondents based in New York. He first started working for the program in 2019. Greer is also a senior reporter at New York Post gossip column Page Six, where he also hosted the brand's digital crime show "New York Post Reports: Off the Record" on discovery + and IDGO. He previously co-hosted the nationally syndicated entertainment newsmagazine show "Page Six TV."
As an entertainment reporter, Greer has broken and covered some of Hollywood's biggest stories over the past 15 years, including: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's rekindled romance, Whitney Houston's death, Harvey Weinstein’s abuse, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's split.
In addition to breaking celebrity news, Greer has interviewed A-listers such as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, JAY-Z, Madonna, Kim Kardashian and many more.
Prior to joining The New York Post and "Extra," Greer covered music, pop culture, crime, and human interest stories as a writer-reporter for People magazine.
Greer started his career as a production assistant at "The Insider" and "Entertainment Tonight," where he later served as a special correspondent.
He received his BA in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College.
