Norman Reedus Teases Second Half of ‘Walking Dead’ Season 9, Plus: His Dream Guest on ‘Ride’
“The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus is keeping busy, starring in two hit AMC shows!
“Extra's” Tanika Ray sat down with Reedus at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he discussed his travel series, “Ride,” as well as “The Walking Dead.”
He said, “We had our 'Walking Dead' second-half premiere last night then I was on 'Talking Dead,' then the Season 3 of 'Ride' premiered right after it.”
What can fans expect during the second half of Season 9 of “The Walking Dead”? He dished, “We have the Whisperers they just got introduced, and it's a group that travel amongst the dead with dead faces on their faces… It's really gnarly. Samantha Morton is playing the leader of that group and she's awesome.”
When Tanika asked if there will be alliance between Daryl and new baddie, Alpha, Norman commented, “You know, I think there is a mutual respect there. Daryl's kind of the kind of character that's outside of the group. He lives out in the woods. He's kind of a wild animal himself and I think there is a mutual respect there.”
After Tanika pointed out that mutual respect is a good place to start, Norman said, “Yeah, with somebody as mean as that, it's a good idea.”
Reedus is getting ready hit the road for “Ride with Norman Reedus,” saying, “I leave for Uruguay today.”
Costa Rica is also on the list. He said, “We're going to a whole bunch of cool spots with a bunch of good guests."
As for his dream guest, Reedus revealed, “I would like to get Cher on the show. That would be fun. Yeah… Amazing, right? Yeah, that's been a goal of mine since Season 1.”
Watch both "Ride with Norman Reedus" and "The Walking Dead" Sunday nights on AMC.
