Christie Brinkley Reveals What She Is Looking for in a Man
Christie Brinkley stopped by Universal Studios Hollywood, where she dished with “Extra's” Mario Lopez about what she looks for in a man, her daughter Alexa Ray's wedding, and her book “Timeless Beauty.”
Fans first fell for Christie when she began modeling in the '70s, and she became even more famous in 1983 when she appeared in “National Lampoon's Vacation” and in her now ex-husband Billy Joel's “Uptown Girl” video.
Brinkley is still stunning 35 years later — it's hard to believe she is single! Mario tried to play matchmaker, asking what she looks for in a man. Brinkley told him, “He has to make me laugh.” Mario insisted, “Don't tell me he has to make me laugh… What are you attracted to?” Christie replied, “It might be nice to have someone taller than me this time... I want someone to make me feel dainty.”
Maybe someday she will try online dating. She told Mario, “I was just saying to my kids, Don't you think I should have a page?'"
Her daughter Alexa Ray Joel just got engaged to Ryan Gleason. The mother of the bride is pulling for a lavish wedding. She told Lopez, “Let's go big.”
Brinkley doesn't have to worry about looking good in the wedding pictures — after all, she did write the book “Timeless Beauty.”
The book shares her best tips including the injectable Xeomin to fight off frown lines and ultherapy, which uses ultrasound technology. She explained, “It's a wand they wave magically across your face. It uses that technology to aim into the skin to tell your skin to produce more collagen and elastin… collagen and elastin give you that youthful look.”
The blonde bombshell turns 64 next month, and Mario celebrated a little early by gifting her with flowers and Gnosis Chocolate!
