'Love at First Sight'! Christina Anstead Reveals the Surprising Way She Met Husband Ant

Christina Anstead has a new show on HGTV, a new husband, and a new baby on the way!

“Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with the star at Universal Studios Hollywood to get the scoop on all three.

Christina and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, shot to fame with their hit show “Flip or Flop.” Now, nearly three years after their split, she has moved on with British TV personality Ant Anstead.

The pair wed in December and are expecting their first child together. She told Renee they are still working on names for their baby boy. “We're going through names right now,” she said. “There's a lot of people involved because we have four kids… everyone has a say… and there are some names that right away are like, 'No!'”

Those four kids include Christina's daughter Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with Tarek, and Ant's daughter Amelie, 15, and son Archie, 12, with ex-wife Louise.

The 35-year-old also talked about how she met her new husband, saying, “We met through a mutual friend… Yeah, so we went on a blind date. We Facetimed before… Yeah, we Facetimed for about two hours the first time that we ever talked and then we met at a restaurant with a group of people. It was love at first sight, and we've been together ever since.”

Anstead also revealed why she likes to keep things amicable with Tarek, saying, ”Most importantly, we have kids together… that's what really matters, that we remain friends, especially for co-parenting. It just makes everyone's lives easier.”

Christina's newest show, “Christina on the Coast,” will give fans a look at her personal and professional lives. “I'm basically helping a person or a couple redesign their house and their space," she said. "It's fun working with clients.” She added that it will also feature her own story, including “everything that I was going through in 2018, my whole journey, house hunting, and getting engaged, getting married, everything like that.”
