'The Voice' Winner Brynn Cartelli on Her Dreams Coming True
This morning, “The Voice” winner Brynn Cartelli visited “Extra” at Universal Studios Hollywood for a Facebook Live chat with host Mario Lopez.
At 15, Brynn's the youngest winner of the show to date! She admitted, “It hasn't really hit me. It's a dream come true. It's all happening so fast and it's really weird, but I'm so excited.”
Before her name was announced as the winner by host Carson Daly, Brynn said, “I didn't expect it until it actually happened. I did not expect to hear my name to be called until 'Cartelli' because [second place winner] Britton [Buchanan] and I have similar names. I didn't expect it at all, I was really, really grateful.”
Brynn said her coach Kelly Clarkson led her to victory, sharing, “She's so so invested in her artists... it's more than people understand, she's really active with us... she's just been such a joy to work with and I love her.”
The Massachusetts native is ready to go back to school, saying, “I go to a small public school... It's been crazy; apparently. I'm a little nervous to go back, but I'm excited to see my friends.”
And what's next for her? Brynn told Mario, “Make music and meet the people who supported me!”
