Bong Joon-ho Breaks News on ‘Parasite’ Series
Before “Parasite’s” Bong Joon-ho took home the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, Best International Film, and Best Director at the 92nd annual Academy Awards, he and his translator were with “Extra’s” Billy Bush on the red carpet.
The filmmaker, who received six nominations for his Korean-language thriller, broke this news about an HBO limited series based on “Parasite,” saying, “We are in the very early stages. We start discussions with Adam McKay. We are doing our best to make sure we create a high-quality limited series.”
