Nearly 15 years ago, “Extra” met Sofía Vergara for the first time while she was promoting the comedy film “Soul Plane.”
It was years before her breakout role on “Modern Family,” long before she became the highest-paid actress on television, thanks to her comedic chops.
At the time she said, “In comedy, the good thing is you have to have fun, because it’s the only time it comes out funny.”
