Why ‘Hamilton’ Star Renée Elise Goldsberry Says Her Emmy Nomination Is a ‘Gift’

“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst spoke with “Hamilton” actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, who is nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Movie.

Of her reaction, Renée said, “I did not see it coming. There’s so many of us that are nominated for ‘Hamilton.’ I feel like it’s a gift to be able to see them. I haven’t seen them [since the COVID-19 pandemic].”

Goldsberry also expressed how excited she is to be at the Emmys, regardless of whether she wins or loses.
